What stays local
When you use FileTally to count pages, the scan runs locally on your Windows machine. You do not upload your source documents, extracted folder contents, or CSV/XLSX exports to FileTally during a scan.
That local-first behavior is the reason FileTally is appropriate for teams that do not want to move client or records content into a browser tool.
What we receive
We receive the information you choose to send us through checkout, licensing, activation, and support. That can include your email address, billing details handled by Stripe, purchase status, activation state, and the content of your support request.
If you contact support for a license resend, activation help, or refund review, we only see the information required to resolve that request.
Payments, licensing, and support
Payments are processed by Stripe. FileTally does not store raw card numbers. Support requests are handled by email so we can help with licensing, purchase questions, activation issues, and refund review.
