EULA

The FileTally EULA is written for operational software, not vague betaware.

The agreement covers license scope, restrictions, customer responsibility for output review, warranty disclaimers, and limitation-of-liability terms. It is presented during install and on first run in the app.

Version 2026-03-19

License grant

FileTally grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app according to the plan, seat count, and activation rights tied to the purchase or trial.

Restrictions

  • No bypassing licensing, activation, or seat limits.
  • No redistribution, sublicensing, hosting, or resale without written permission.
  • No unlawful or rights-violating use.

Output review responsibility

FileTally helps count pages and export indexes. You remain responsible for reviewing whether estimated, blank, fallback, or error rows require manual handling before relying on the output.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

FileTally is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FileTally disclaims warranties and limits liability for indirect, consequential, and similar damages. The agreement also caps direct liability to the amount paid for the applicable license in the prior twelve months.
