FileTally is sold as a paid Windows utility, not a subscription service or enterprise platform. The current self-serve Solo license is $24.99. This page explains the practical rules customers care about before they buy: seats, activation, renewals, upgrades, and support.
.lic file by email after payment is confirmed.Activate online once on the licensed machine. After that, FileTally stores local license state on the workstation and renews its activation lease automatically while the app can still reach FileTally during the renewal window.
If the machine is temporarily offline, FileTally keeps working between renewal checks and uses an offline grace window instead of forcing constant online validation.
The current public checkout is intentionally simple: Solo is the live self-serve plan at $24.99 for one seat. If you need more seats, a longer term, or a different commercial arrangement, contact support and we can quote or provision the right entitlement directly.
Machine replacement and seat-change requests are handled through support so the entitlement record stays accurate and auditable.
Support covers license resend, activation help, legitimate replacement requests, installer issues, and refund review. It does not promise matter-specific consulting or document-by-document validation.
