What a paid license buys

  • Use on all the Windows PCs and Macs you own or control. No device or seat limit.
  • License key plus attached .lic file by email after payment is confirmed.
  • App updates included. The license doesn't expire.
  • Human support for resend and activation help.

Activation

Activate online once on each computer. After that, FileTally works offline on that computer. To add a new or replacement computer, install FileTally and activate it with the same license. You don't need to deactivate or transfer another computer first.

Earlier FileTally versions may still show Check or Renew activation. If one asks, connect to the internet and use it once.

Downloads and the App Store

A license bought here unlocks the FileTally downloads for Windows and Mac, including the command-line tools.

When FileTally is available in Apple's App Store, App Store versions are bought and restored through Apple and work on devices that use the same Apple account. For now, a license from this site doesn't unlock App Store versions, and an App Store purchase doesn't unlock the downloads.
