Security

FileTally is designed around local processing, review visibility, and controlled rollout.

The core trust property is simple: page counting and export generation happen on your Windows machine. That keeps document review inside your own environment instead of sending files to a cloud counter.

Local processing

FileTally performs local processing for scans, page-count review, and export generation. The app is Windows-only and is built for folder-based work that would otherwise be difficult to hand to a browser tool.

Review visibility

FileTally exposes review states for estimated, blank, and error rows so questionable results can be isolated before export. That makes the workflow more auditable than silently shipping a single total.

Archive handling

ZIP inspection and extraction stay local. Password-protected ZIP files are skipped. Non-ZIP archives such as RAR or 7z require local manual extraction before you re-run the scan.

This keeps unsupported archive handling inside your own workstation workflow instead of sending those files elsewhere for conversion.

Website and purchasing

The website is for product information, downloads, checkout, licensing, and support. Stripe handles payment collection, and support questions are handled over email.
